The MX-5 NA was produced from 1990 to 1997.

NA6 (1990-1993): The earlier NA model that cam with a 1.6L engine and produced 116 horsepower.

NA8 (1994-1997): The later NA model that came with a 1.8L engine and produced 128 horsepower.

This model also cae with a stronger rear differential and stronger chassis bracing.
